The California Dream Home | Sold

It was an absolute pleasure to be able to work with my wonderful clients to design and sell this beautiful property. From the moment I saw the home on the market pre renovation I realized how special the architecture was and what amazing potential the property had to be a minimalist white wood and woven masterpiece!

I decided to accent the clean lines of the home with a tan smooth stucco, custom wood garage and front doors, and the breeze block wall to add some depth and play to the Palm Springs vibe of the home.

Enter through the custom wood door with views through the great room and out to the pool beyond!

The shape of the ceiling is certainly a showstopper and the beams were stripped and brought back to their natural wood state.

This floor to ceiling fire place is a subtle statement with the textured tile adding a bit more of those mid century vibes. I loved getting the chance to get to stage this room with pieces from my own personal collection.

The open concept space provides the right amount of separation while adding site lines throughout the living areas. Archways were added on either side of the fireplace to mimic the lines of the ceiling.

The perfectly minimal dining space staged by my friend Annie from Pride of Place allows for the honed travertine centerpiece I designed to shine. Serving not only as another subtle statement but also a kitchen island but also a sideboard for the dining area.

The open concept galley kitchen is light, bright and spacious. With custom oak cabinetry to once again bring back that mid century vibe in a modern way.

The master suite also by Pride of Place who beautifully executed my vision for the space with this curated stage.

An extra long custom vanity and wet room style shower with soaking tub and doors opening out to the private patio are what make this master en-suite shine!

Of course this wouldn't be the California Dream Home if it didn't have a pool! So we added one, a pretty one at that. The gray plaster allows for a jewel like hew from the water and the grass surround makes it feel like your very own watering hole.
