Updated: Jan 6, 2021

Listed for $1,599,000 and sold for $1,760,000! Ever since I stepped foot in this magical historic home a little less than year ago, I knew it would be a honor to get the opportunity to sell it! My client poured lots of love into tastefully updating this historic home for modern living! I was wonderful to get the chance to come in, work with large furniture pieces the sellers already owned, bring in supplemental accent pieces, and style the space to perfection!

Los Angeles Historical Landmark 621, The Alice Lynch House was designed by architect Harwood Hewitt and built by Adobe contractor John Byers in 1922 this home is truly a piece of art. Tastefully updated for modern living with over 2,500SF of interior living space centered around 1,000SF of courtyard space with resort like feels and optimal indoor/outdoor flow!

The jaw dropping great room is just one of the mesmerizing moments of the home. The original wide plank floors, and beamed ceilings are truly unique.

Designed for indoor/outdoor living, two sets of french doors flow out into the central courtyard and allow ample Eastern sunlight into the space.

This monumental brick fireplace is a signature of the Architect Harwood Hewitt. Large walls of brick can be found in many of his other works. The simplicity is truly stunning!

The foyer to the home is certainly a moment to remember! When I first met the seller he was working on this space. While I had suggested more neutral options for the tile he found this amazing pink tile and we worked together to create the pattern with the gray mixed in...

This amazing artwork by Lola Del Fresno, a Spanish artist, has the perfect depth, complexity, and minimalism to stand out, but not clash with the vibrant floors. It was a pleasure to get to hand select this piece for the space.

Although newly updated, this thoughtfully designed kitchen truly feels as it has always been in the home, timeless...

The banquette area built in at the end of the kitchen is absolutely perfect for entertaining and once again accompanied by french doors that open onto the patio.

The home has two separate sleeping wings, making it conducive to a variety of arrangements and the perfect place to host guests at your own personal resort! This downstairs bedroom is definitely where I would be!

This beauty of a guest bath is a minimalists dream and is shared by both of the lower level bedrooms. Yes, there is a skylight above the showe!

This custom concrete vanity certainly does not disappoint, blending right in with tons of character and old world charm.

The second lower level bedroom opens out onto the courtyard making it more than ideal for guests!

Upstairs you'll find what could be the most magical master suite with room for both sleeping and lounging under the pitched roof of the second story.

Flow through the upstairs bathroom with is colorful patinated doors and incredibly unique trough sink into what could be your dream dressing room, office, or nursery...

Technically the 4th bedroom, this space could make for an amazing master closet! By the way, both of the rooms upstairs have abnormally large closets for the times!

And now we've made it to the piece de resistance this incredible courtyard truly transports you into another world. You're own vacation within LA.

Tequila around the fire pit, under the twinkle lights, next to the bougainvillea, thats all.

Oh yes, and the outdoor showing under the archways...

Epic outdoor dining...

Large manicured backyard...

All under the shadows of this phenomenal Cati make this amazing Adobe Abode truly one of a kind!
